About
Bio
Hubert Hayaud is a photojournalist and editor based in Montréal. In his editing studio he organizes, transforms, fashions and refashions 24 images per second of feature films and documentaries. This is probably the reason why once behind his lens he concentrates on simplicity and authenticity.
In photography as in life he is curious, demanding, passionate, and sensitive to the world and those around him. His work has been featured in Geo, Ulysse, Leica Photography International and many others.

The Great Move
In Brazil, the Amazonas government is financing an urban development program with the objective of relocating people living in the favelas of Manaus. Since 2004, more than 400 families, flood victims and people living in deplorable conditions have been affected by this plan. Modernizing and cleaning the downtown area has so far disregarded social ties and environmental consequences.
